 Overselling is not Issue but has been Made to Look like an Issue
Hello,
1. Hosting Companies started hosting business charging customers high costs and than some one came up with idea that space used by hosting customers is invariably 5 to 10 times less than space hired by them.
2. This means a hosting company gets cost of 10 server resources while they have sold only one. Means if one lowers costs 5 to 10 Times he can benifit customers without compromising resources or quality.
3. It by NO MEANS leads to what is called OVER USAGE or misuse of server resources. Not sure how they say so. I have a server, I know what percentage of resources I have to use to shift to next server.
4. I think they drum beat agaisnt over selling, as they have to lower cost and reduce profits.
Any other ideas.
