phpBB is insecure, Rusty. I think it's because of the fact that the source code is available to all so everyone who wants to hack it can just get a copy, study it and exploit it. :/

I guess but lesser chances since they'd have to pay to hack it. LOL, tha'd be too much! I know...it's just a forum board but you might feel differently when you have a big board with lots of visits and somebody tampers all over your controls, or worse! put a hacked page, making the board unavailable. also, it would look undignified for a host---you are one---and it would not say anything good of your security skills. might turn some potential/current clients off
