i think yahoo did something to the promo domain..
status : client transfer disable [i did not saw this 3 months ago]
status : transfer disable [this is a 60 lock period issue by icann]
i hope i can transfer my domains after a couple of months or next year..

btw. i hope i get inform if yahoo will sell 1.99 domains.. i buy some more.. hehehe

can i also suggest www.lunarpages.com to be added on the good list.
a bit expensive but stable / fast server..

lunar pages seems to be overselling a bit

oh, i think there's a mandatory 60-day period to stay with your registrar before moving your domain. I wanted to move mine but I saw the notice on. I guess it's all wait wait wait then

I think all professional host providers are supposed to manage themself to provide good service and support to their customers. It is the personal experience of the end users that they come out with some problem with a particular company while possibilities are also there that majority of the customers might not come across with same problem with that particular host providers.

However I would suggest that one should choose the most reliable one after going through the actual reviews from different forums and certainly after gathering the word of mouth from other people.

i dont think lunarpages is overselling (may be competing...)
before september
$8 for 40g bandwidth, 1g space, 1 mysql, 1ftp, 15 subdomain, 3 parking, no addon domain, unlimited email..

currently they just increase unlimited ftp, subdomain, parking, 1 add-on, upto 3g space. 3 mysql..
coz allot are asking for it. and coz lot of other competitive hosting out there..

Yeah thats a good point my friend used to run a webhosting company and he is 18 he ran it good for the reason he had a good emount of time of his hands but he had to give it up due to some family issues

But he said he may re-open another site.. so if I here of him doing this and it takes off and offers the same quality I'll be sure to post it here.

Would it be considered a shameless plug to list myself in the "good" host catagory? We are going on our third year of business and in total history Only one customer has ever cancelled on us.. and it was more due to his personal bankruptcy.
