| Excellent suggestions... but another point to ponder... Don't depend on a web site to be the robotic sales solution to make you a millionaire... Go out and build relationships with web developers and other Internet professionals who are willing to REFER business to you in the real world, not just the basement-dwellers who think they can drive business to you through spam or other such nonsense.
I focus on building real-world relationships since those are more enduring than price-cuts or special offers. After all, if someone knows and likes you, they're a lot less likely to go away.
One last note... when someone contacts you, REPLY PROMPTLY. :-) I can't tell you how many people I see in my business consulting practice who fail to meet sales goals simply because they're bad at following up! |
