these days lot of peoples buy reseller pack from big brands , make a small website and advertise on adwords . Does this idea works ? how much money you can make this by using it ... How much overselling you can do ?

It depends upon the reseller plan you purchase. If there is a 20 domains reseller plan then you can resell 20 domains by making your own hosting plans and prices.

Being on a server that allows resellers is very risky and will most likely fail. It seems there is always someone who only knows how to ruin it for everyone. Your clients could suffer because another reseller is not being responsible. Provide a product offering hosting on a managed server run by the owner/company to maintain complete control. Do not tolerate website owners who do not respect the server and cause harm.
