If I make a website that autodetects flash player using the
dreamweaver behaviour (check plug-ins)
and then if no flash player then it provides an HTML equivalent.

Will the HTML version get indexed by Google as it would if it was it's
own site?

Also is this redirection seen as cloaking by Google?

Basically I really need to know the best way of providing a flash
version and html.

Everyene says to do it, but as far as I can tell the "how to" part
isn't easily available.
Are there any articles on this?

Thankyou and sorry for the basic level query, but it's really
important to me to get this right.

I am not sure If I understand what you mean.
Do you want to host the flash files your self, or just link to them?
For google its better to host them your self, with the Flash Player plug-in from Dreamweaver MX.
