 | I would say offer support from say 8am to 8pm or something like that, you can have 2 people do it, for say, i work at night 10:30pm to 7am now i could work half the time, say 1pm to 8pm and the other person work from 8am to 1pm, taking that you need sleep. And maybe that could work, but then i would have no life... |

 | I believe support is where the bulk of employees should be. The reason customers keep paying every month usually and the reason that they refer their friends is because of the support they receive. You can start off with just one, then steadily increase and outsource support if you have to.

 | For starting and running a small web hosting, I think 2 people are enough, 1 person to look after the management and the other for the support. But as the growth of the company takes place there is always a need for recruiting more people. |

 | In a proffesinal prospective it would take 2 people to handle a business at starting point. The first person should look after the clients and advertise in various places and look after the help desk and live chat to get the company started, And the other to handle the server or any problems and manage the clients technical issues and sort the problems out. | Well it is not all about money. The point is starting and managing a web hosting business. Single person in the beginning may be enough but as the time passes and workload increases he will need more people specially for advertising and promotion and for providing technical support to existing clients. |
