Linux. The professional webhosting industry does not use windows on the majority of its servers.

well, linux is cheap and easy, and most popular for hosting and internet stuffs.
but window is most comfortables when you're talking about development.
I just moved my site to windows hosting, and I found some problems with seach engine optimization.

Most people are used to Linux hosting, that's why most of the plans offered by hosts are Linux hosting plans. It's nice to add an option of Windows hosting though, for those users who might want to use that instead.
