I strongly suggest you to fined more information about your future host's reputation. There are too many companies on the market so noone can know each of them. If you want to go for a cheap offer and plenty of space and bandwidth at the same time there is always a risk a host to be unreliable.

I can suggest you to make a search on the host's domain at whois, to see if they provide phone support and to check their legal status.

You could try http://galvanize-solutions.com/packages.php , all the features such as mysql are unlimited and it's only $1/month or $8/year.

if you're willing to wait a week or so.. ill be able to host you for $1 a month..\allowing you to host unlimited subdomains and sites.. and if i ever go under, i will set you up with another host, transfer your files.. you wouldnt even notice.

I think you will definately get $1/m hosting with good features but possibility of collapsing will always be there.
Its better to pay few more bucks to get RELIABLE hosting.
