I think so, yes because in the forums I've been to, the Cash mod has been used extensively for trading everything from signature design services to earlier IPB forum installations! Plus, in a forum with a lot of members offering a lot of stuff for forum cash, it'll motivate the members to post more (posting means forum cash, lol) and increase forum activity!
I tried to install this weeks ago into my forum but guess what? I broke it 3 times.
