ASP.Net
well i must say my favourite all time Server side scripting language has to be ASP.Net.
I am jst an english secondary schooler and i am currently in my second years of GCSE's and in AS ICT (im doing it early) all we learn is VB
So when it comes to coding my webpages in good old PHP i get clouded with the VB i need t kearn for school and a mess occurs.
owever now i have started coding in ASP. and, as a beginner i can already see the rewards of the vb like structure and ease of codability. i can do everthing that i could in PHP in ASP yet it took me 1/4 of the time to learn. |

| yes asp is much easyier in my opion as well, just the hosting for windows servers are a bit more then the normall linux, thats were the downfall is... But thats just like life, full of ups and downs  | |

| Hm...I thought I wanted to be a programmer, but I still have yet to learn any real programming/scripting...I want to learn PHP and CSS, then move on to other thing like ASP, C++, etc. But I just get sidetracked with my graphics stuff...I guess that's probably where I'm headed.

| They best things to code in ASP.net are mobile apps... ive done a wiless phone book which allows any1 with a wap mob to browse the phone book... but that was a tut and i have made an ASP.Net powered CMS... | |

| sorry man i ha to re-create it in php to use since i couldnt find a good free host which supports ASP.net
if i still have it lying around sumwhere ill try and tak a SS but no promises... | |
