I register to this forum in order to inform the members about profithost.
The story is as below
I ordered a 1gbit server from profithost (specs AMD 3700 + 2gb ram 2x 160 gb harddisk 25 TB transfer EUR 249 /month) and i payed in-advance for 3 months so i wont have any setup fee. The date i ordered is 10/5/2007 and i recieved access of the server after many delayes at 18/5/2007.
For my bad luck i made all the arrengements through msn not via on-line form and i payed by wire trasfer (bank trasfer) cause he didnt accept paypal.The second big mistake.
The server i recieved had a 100mbit nic not 1gbit that i ordered.Profithost advertised 1gbit server at that time.
I requested a nic update to 1gbit and Jacob told me that he would send my request to his tech section.Many days passed ,i reached him through msn many times and that update never completed.
Then i request money refund.He sayed that is possible and he would do it.From that day passed 2 months.We have talked 100 times via msn.I tried to call his company but no answer the first time and the second the person who answered my call told my that i was mistaken when i asked for profithost.
I could write many pages describing the convertations i had with Jacob via msn.
I have all the logs to proof what i am saying and ofcourse a printscreen of the money transaction and many more details.
Today 18/8/2007 i stiil didnt get my money refund and Jacob still telling me that we will send them.I just dont believe him anymore.
You can google search his company
www.profithost.net and you will find many other customers dissapointed like me.or you can visit the so called company webpage it seems to be nothing there.
Frankly i dodnt believe i will get my money back but hopefully some of pottentional customers of JACOB will consider what i am writing.
There is an update with profithost.I recieved 2 days ago a screenshot of web banking transaction 747€ as my refund.I am waiting now the money to appear in my bank.
