CPanel redundant?

Is it me or is CPanel starting to show age. Out of CPanel, DirectAdmin and Plesk it is the worse looking, the least user friendly and is joint with all 3 for features. i wonder if CPanel is loosing its touch...

Any who my favourite is Plesk, followed by Direct admin. these tools are good, easy to use and i find there speed is un-comparable...

I would have to disagree. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to control panels, but to say CPanel is "starting to show it's age" isn't really true as it is constantly updated.

This very much comes down to the skin your host is using. We use RV Skins which our customers generally find to be easier to navigate than skins such as CPanel X.

Well we all have our opinions

i just believe that since it conered the market it has let its reputation do the selling and is starting to lack in features, speed and ease of use...

Hm....I think it's all very dependent. If you know what you're doing, and have a nice skin, it's very effective...if you're a noobie to web hosting...I guess another one may be your choice. I personally like Cpanel best, but I haven't really played with others that much.

I've tried Plesk, Helm, Cpanel and a few custom panels. And, they're all very similar in the end. I'm used to cpanel though, so I have a slight preference for it just because of that.

the cpanel x skin isnt very user friendly, but it just takes time to learn where everything is, once you've done that, its just as good as any. user compatability i find not to be a problem, as long as it has the features to back it up.

I'd say cPanel is just fine, it's much more user friendly than the others and has more options than plesk. I've tried them both, but the plesk was an old version, so maybe that counts for something.

I have used Plesk and Cpanel but I've had more time with Cpanel and I like it better. It's idiot-friendly and has a lot of nifty little scripts that allows easier management of your account.
