Does any body have experience with FastNext

Guys,

Help me decide by sharing your experience if any with the host fastnext.com or datapacket.net i need to go for it quick.

Though the prices are good & the companies look great i still want to be sure so that every year i dont have to change my host.

thanks in advance

WARNING

STEER CLEAR OF FASTNEXT THEY ARE WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST HOST I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO BUY HOSTING FROM!!

That was in capitals because thats how useless this hosting company really is.

If you want:

Daily Crashes
Weekly reinstalls
Lost Income

Then get an account with FastNext.

Seriously - Steer clear of them.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the info about them, & thanks god that i did not go with them.

I doubted them a bit as their people were not responding to me quickly for pre-sales, & wondered what would they have done to me after sales.

I have taken a reseller account with allreseller.com & so far they have been providing good support to me.

Where are you hosting now?

I now host a reseller account with http://www.hostqt.com who are a small but really reliable host. I am in the process of swapping all of my domains to them and scrapping anything fastnext.

You all know the old saying...

You all know the old saying..."If it's too good to be true..."

Well this is how I feel about datapacket.net. I have been with them for about six months and have never had a production web site stay on-line with them for more then 20 days in a row. They have lost, dropped or made in-active every database driven site I have created...EVERY ONE! Currently I have six unanswered trouble tickets with them and to date the only reply I have received was that these tickets will be deleted if I do not respond to them.

It seems to me that they are either not able to provide the service I've paid for or they are 'out-of-business'. Either way, I can not nor will not suggest to anyone to do business with them. I am currently moving all of the domains I have with them over to another hosting company. I'll take my financial loss as just a bad purchase choice.

You have been warned...

Re:

I started using www.datapacket.com about six months ago and nothing, I MEAN NOTHING, has worked as advertised. Every time I created and started working a new CMS application their database would crash, freeze up or slow down so badly that the home page would not load and cause a browser to time out. In addition, I would get dropped out of my 'admin' log-in within minutes of logging in. Many times during an application install or up-grade. The final straw was yesterday afternoon when I was attempting to take a site out of development (had been working on it for over a week) and into production. When I made my final save their system locked up (AGAIN) and I lost everything.

I did have a recent backup of the files and database (thank God) and today I am moving the files over to another hosting service I contract with. What a big waste of time, effort and man hours.

What a poor excuse for a hosting company...

Do not buy datapacket

I have my reseller account with datapacket.net and I am looking for another provider, couple days ago one of my customers called saying that his website was pointing to a website in Turkey. I typed his address and there I was watching another website in Turkey, off course, the datapacket.net help suport was unavailable, etc. Couple months before I also had my account suspended with no reason, double billing, deletion of my account, etc.

I have posted below some of their emails, I just wrote xxx on my personal information.

Remember DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE THE WORST.
