1. What is Password Protection?

Using Password Protection inside Control Panel, you can protect your directories against unauthorized access. When a visitor tries to open the protected directory (or a file located inside that directory) a window pops up and requests username and password.

2. How to setup a password protected area (directory)?*

Inside Control Panel, Password Protection menu, enter the requested password protected area's username after "username_" in the Username field, type password, path ( the exact physical path to be protected i.e. /home/www/domain.com/admin ) and click on the 'Set Password Protection' button.
