No I can't manage myself. Linux. DA or cPanel preferred.

if you cant manage server yourself, you will need a managed server, or at least semi-managed, or hire someone to do the management. It depends on the hardware, the quality of network, the supporting service... but I would start around $150 - $200/month for a P4 server

I would say cheapest would probably be buying unmanaged from a site like http://layeredtech.com and then hiring a server admin from somewere I have seen server admins from like $30 a month.

Above posted I don't think he was looking for shared hosting he is asking about dedicated. About dedicated I would say if you go managed it will cost alot more then getting a server admin probably. I would say rent one for some place and hire a server admin or learn.

You can find dedicated servers for as low as $49-$69/month. However, many times at this price level you can get better service on a company's virtual or VPS plans. Simply being, lower priced dedicated servers commonly don't have the capabilities and redundancies that hosts provide on their multiple user machines.

If you don't have much experience, but do get an entry level dedicated server, make sure that you get a good control panel that allows you access to all the functionality of the server. Also look for one with enough RAM to run the applications you intend to use, and if possible, get dual hard drives in a mirror RAID configuration so you can use one as a backup. Hard drive failures are common across all servers/computers, and you don't want to be left hanging with all of your valuable content on just one hard drive.
