it depends on how much space your host provides, and how this is split between the clients being hosted

ok i'll try to talk slowly - cuz i dont have that much experience in this stuff - and i think i expressed my self wrong

i have a reseller account
i create domains for my clients and all of the accounts have the same IP right?
another reseller does the same
and all of his domains are hosted at the same IP ok?

now i used http://whois.sc/reverse-ip/ to look up the no. of domains hosted in that IP
and they was 513 domain
so is that good or bad ?
and can every reseller in this forum do the same and post it here ?

Heh.. you cant help that.. cause thats just what resellers are..
who cares if its bad or good..
all your there to do is to make money..

its just normal for a reseller .. to have shared IP
If you are making alot of money off your reseller account i would personally suggest to you, that you start your own hosting company, which means buying your own dedicated server. :P
cause if you have the Client base.. you chould be all sweet..
all you have to do is use there monthly payments to buy the dedicted server..
It means your then high end.. and you can sell reseller accounts your self..
heres a good dedicated server supplier .. to get started..

www.bit42.com if you need help, with it just PM me.
And if you cant decide on a OS i would suggest Linux FreeBSD very secure..

1. whois.sc is not correct all the time
2. it shows the domains, not the accounts. One account can have 20 parked domains

hosting 513 domains doesnt say anything, but 513 accounts on a server... it's a bit crownded (yes, it depends on how busy they are as well)

Unhappy

Because its an reseller account... and that 513 domains being host with the same ip ... is ofcourse bad... I would suggest this to be the casue in case you do have a slow responce from the server....Just imagine if all the sites were up and many users were simultaneously accessing.... what would be the stress on the speed limit??

I don't think all of the 513 were individual accounts. They could be just parked, you know as someone already mentioned. parking can't hurt, can it?
