I would rather spend a little bit more to buy a hosting service. I want to ensure that I get a high performance, reliable and fast server.

hosting service is quite cheap nowadays and you should not look for a cheap hosting. You should always question them: Are they reliable? I think it does not make sense to pay for a cheap service, just to see your site down frequently in a day.

Furthermore, what can you buy nowadays with $5.00/month? A cup of coffee in Starbucks?

Do you mean shared web hosting from Ahosting.biz? Or any other services?
I knew they are cheap but didn't know to such an extension.

There are many very good cheap hosting companies on the web but remember cheapest does not necessarily mean good or best value. The few dollars you save on the one day you sign up could mean 365 days of frustration and/or extra costs for the rest of the year.

Things to consider:

• Do they offer Multi Hosting Plans - where you can host more than one website? You may very well wish to create more web sites in future and Multi Hosting plans are often no more expensive than some hosts charge for single domain hosting.
• Check that the price advertised is for a 12 month plan. Sometimes hosts advertise low monthly prices which are actually 24/36/48 and even 60 month sign up prices?
• Do they have an easy to use control panel? Check if they have access to a demo control panel on their site and try it out. Remember you will have to work with it for the rest of the year.
• Can you buy and manage Domain Names from the same control panel? This is really convenient.
• Will you have to pay extra for things like a Domain Name, DNS Management, Email Forwarding, URL Forwarding and Domain Parking?
• Do they offer free software in the hosting package to save you time and money down the track like a free web site builder and marketing tools?
• Do they have an extensive text based or video tutorial library within your control panel that you can utilise to help quickly and easily solve many of the common hosting problems?
• Do they offer Phone Support &/or Fast Ticket support - this is a very important part of any hosting package?
• Most importantly - do they offer a sound money back guarantee, if you are not completely happy, for any reason?

So you see there is more to choosing a good hosting provider than just the cheapest rates, I would encourage anyone to consider the above points and more of their individual needs before just buying on price alone.
