 | Make a defragmentation of your system drive. Also make sure that you have removed the game from the registry by unistallation, and not just hitting del on the game folder in program files. |

 | I might be better to write your system's configuration. There are many reasons involved in slower down the system. Empty you temp and temporary internet files folder. Run disk clean up and disk defragmentation. Enhance the virtual memory. Check corrupted system files and if possible the reinstall the OS.
I think these things help you.

 | Also don't forget to run spyware scans and virus scans.
This could also be a cause of the sluggish performances. |

 | Clean up the unwanted material from the C: drive or the drive where you have installed your Operating System. Check for dust inside the CPU,clean it if yes. |

 | No doubt, I should do defragmentation of your disk (C). I think that this problem will be solved after it. |
