Profithost: Not a reseller you should consider Ok well it started out good; we ordered 2 dedicated servers and 1 web host. Profithost then told me it would take 72 hours to get our order delivered... we waited for 5 days till we got the message – “Sorry but the Game server wasn’t able to handle over 4 GBs of ram”, We accepted their apologies and waited yet another 1-2 days, because these guys seemed trustworthy. After this incident, they told us after the 2 days had passed. That it would take yet another 3 days to complete our order. We got sligthly aggrevated but we thought we had nothing to loose. Some more days passed but no sign of any servers. So when we asked them about the current server status, they said we would get them the next day. They told us there had been yet another incident and it would take a while to fix. Since we bought their excuses, we accepted. After about 4 days of waiting. I had enough of their lies and excuses. So I demanded a full refund of my payment. They accepted my demands and told me it would take about 24 hours to refund me. I accepted the refund option and waited 24 hours. After 24 hours had passed, i had not yet recieved my refund. So i asked the Salesmanager of Profithost ( Jacob ) he told me that all of a sudden our servers were ready. And I needed the servers to meet the deadline i had. I recieved the server login details, and logged on. It took me a while to realize i had not been given the right specifications in the server hardware. By the time we recieved the login details it had gone 6 weeks. So I demanded yet another refund request. Jacob said for the inconvinience and and promised to refund me within 24 hours. I demanded for him to refund me rightnow. We had abit of an argue and he promised to refund me within 24 hours. I gave him yet another chance to forfill my request. Next day, the refund wasn’t made, so i PMed Jacob to yell at him for not refunding me, to my surprise he didn’t answer me as many times before. After about 4 hours had passed. Jacob PMed me telling me the servers were ready! However i didn’t want the servers anymore. I was tired of being lied too. So I requested the refund yet another time. Jacob wouldn’t give him.
He kept argueing for me to accept the servers. So I gave in and recieved the login details. When logging on the servers I realized i had not been given the specifications i asked for once AGAIN. So I requested a refund. He did not answer my PM. The day after i sent a complaint to moneybookers.com to whom i had paid through. They told me they had blocked Profithost’ account. Jacob PMed me abit later telling me I will get sued and fined a bill of 5000 € . They give out false contact information on their homepage, The phone number does not exist, their support is rude and stuck up.
Conclusion: This is a new company on a bloody money rampage. They will give anything to get a hold of your cash and then just diss you. They wont refund you even if you request it. I lost 500 € to these filthy liers / scammers. I suggest not to even consider them as your host at any time. I suggest finding one with Paypal if they’re a small and unknown company, atleast by then you can get your money back in a legit and easy way if they do not deliver them within 45 days.
