| Speeding up the VPS by reducing spam...?? How much CPU does your spam filter take from your VPS? It seems logical that the more mailboxes hosted, the more load the spam fitler will take - especially if any of your email addresses are targeted by spammers (or the user is careless and gives out their email address everywhere - as many do).
It's become so bad with some of our subscribers that we now offer or bundle in free a hardware spam filter, to remove the load from the VPS. It's been great in that the VPS's protected by it have been speed up dramatically....but are these guys unique?
And so here is my question...how much CPU is everyone spam assassin using? very curious...
Thank you! |
