 | Spending Too much money to start another one of my lil hints for you all....
one thing most people do when they are just starting out as a host, is they spend too much moeny when starting out. There is no need to start out with a dedicated server, or a high end reseller plan! The best thing to do is start with a small plan, and upgrade it as and when you need the space. This is the most cost effective solution, as it will enable you to make a profit EVERY month, and expand this profit as you expand your hosting size. And a good way to start is do as much as you can yourself, what you do is free, which is a more cost effective thing to do than pay other people to do all the work for you. |

 | why not start out as reseller > VPS > Dedicated server? It's a much safer and practical way in some sense. |

 | thanks, this was some really good advice... i was considering starting my own business before and was gonna jump straight to dedicated but decided not too untill i had things figured out...
question though, everytime u upgrade your account, dont ur clients have to move servers? thus experiencing downtime??? |

 | that is a good point rustynut... and in addition, some of those starting out may overestimate how much business they get. Plan for the worst case, not the best. You can always upgrade a plan or buy a server, it's much harder to cancel it or sell it off.. |

 | For me.. I took way Trial REseller, Trial REseller, Trial Reseller --> Dedicated Since I calculate the difference between reseller/VDS and real dedicated with more B/W and space is just not much different |
