 | The Image your host is giving ok, time for another one of my "usefull" tips :P
when designing your site, it is important to give yourself a good image. if people see a badly designed website, they think a bad service. the same goes for unfinished sites, this also gives a bad impression of the hosting you offer..
and for the big nono in paid hosting, NEVER put ads on your site...
it gives you a really bad image as when people look at your site they think why arent they making the money off the hosting, and it also doesnt do much for your image, as ads are usually ugly and dont fit in with your website's theme. |

 | i think having ads in ur forums wont hurt... none on ur homepage though...
well, it kinda depends i guesss....
having a good template for ur site will help a lot! |

 | I quite agree about the professional image of a host and the design of a website, so I even think there's a certain combination of colors that is perceived as "professional", maybe somehow cool, opposed to those warm and emotional. |

 | That's also extremely good when a host updates company's sitedesign, shows the company is active and cares about his image. www.Webhostingbuzz.com have done that recently, though I seem to prefer the color scheme of the previous design. |
