Which billing program?

Hi Guys,

To everyone that currently runs a web hosting company, small or large, what billing system do you use?

Ours in currently through WHMCS, it's not bad but there are some drawbacks.

Has anyone tried modernbill/plesk?

Thanks

I have tried WHMCS, Modernbill 4 and Client Exec and find WHMCS to be the best solution. Its easy for clients to use and has good automation features.

Modernbill was seen as too complicated even though I was fond of the traffic lights. I havn't used it since Parrels took over the development.

WHMCS is best when it comes to your main system. We offer ClientExec with our reseller plans and it's just as good...

WHMCS just has a better layout and automation functions.

I think WHMCS wins hands down for useabillity , especially for users . My view is that WHMCS provides you (the host) with the stats and information you need to know about your client base quick and in a clear layout.

We have been using MB4 earlier but MB has launched MB5 and no more support provided to help in bugs in MB4.

Initially, we planned to upgrade our MB4 to MB5 but MB5 the configuration of MB5 seems very complicated. We are facing some difficulties in configuration of MB5 even we have been using MB4 for few years.

After some evaluation, we have decided to migrate to WHMCS and WHMCS helped us a lot in the data migration. We successfully migrated all our data in WHMCS on April 2008.

WHMCS is running well for Exabytes which currently serving 22k+ client and 40+ domains globally.

WHMCS has the best features and support. They are probably number one right now in terms of popularity.

I am used to WHMCS. It suits all our requirements.I find some of the best features and support with WHMCS. It has automation functions which I could not find in any other billing solutions.
